Who are we?
The mission of East Alabama Youth for Christ is to reach young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
Our Project
East Alabama Youth for Christ would like to revitalize the basketball court at the Lee County Youth Development Center. YFC has recently begun a basketball small group for their Juvenile Justice Ministry to tear down the barriers and challenges facing troubled youth. Once a week, YFC meets with teens ages 11-19 to play basketball, hold Bible study, and provide mentoring. East Alabama Youth for Christ hopes to raise $10,000 to support this project. Your gift will go toward purchasing two commercial playground basketball goals and installation, new basketballs, and the cost of repainting the court lines.
