Help the Opelika Theater Company continue to provide local youth the opportunity to learn and participate in the art of theater.
Who we are:
Opelika Theatre Company is a non-profit community theatre organization founded in August of 2015, by a small group of Opelika citizens who believe that community theatre provides important quality of life opportunities for citizens of all ages and diversity to be exposed to the cultural, theatrical and performing arts.
Project Summary:
The Opelika Theater Company is raising funds for new LED stage lights and forward facing speakers to be used as monitors for the cast and crew to better hear the music as well as their cues. Additional funds will go toward purchasing licensing rights for popular musicals and providing scholarships for acting classes.
How this benefits the community:
This project seeks to improve the audience experience and allow the Opelika Theater Company to put on better shows. As a community theater, OTC serves to bring people together and continue the tradition of theatrical storytelling in Opelika.
