Who are we?
The Knee High Foundation (KHF) is a non-profit organization/mentorship program geared towards youth ages 5-18. It was founded on the basis of PEACE, HOPE, AND LOVE. Our mission is to mentor, serve, and Uplift our youth with structure and guidance in a nurturing environment through sports. We have over 190 plus children in our program. Within this environment the youth will receive firm discipline (non-physical), and constructive criticism, if needed, to equip them with life skills and tools necessary to help them succeed in life.
At the KHF, our emphasis is instilling the right values, morals, ethics, and life skills in our youth at an early age.
The Opelika Dawg Pound(ODP) is a featured program of KHF. The ODP are the girls and boys in the program who play football and cheer. We are heavily involved in community services and academics. Please see our website www.thekneehighfoundation.org
Our Project
Your gift will support The Knee High Foundation’s 3rd Annual Backpack drive. Last year we gave away over 550 supply filled book bags, our goal this year is to donate 1000 book bags and supplies to children the area! Due to the COVID-19 crisis we want to make it our mission to double last years goal of %00 book bags to alleviate some of the financial strain for parents on the upcoming school year. We are asking for your support to help make our mission into a reality!
Additionally, we have 5 brand new bicycles, with helmets, that were donated to us, which we will raffle off to help with funding. We are going to sell each raffle ticket for $2 each.
