Who we are:

Women’s Hope Medical Clinic is a nonprofit pregnancy resource center that has been serving East Alabama for over 30 years. Our donors help us provide free medical care, emotional support, and material aid to families in our community to empower them to make healthy, Godly decisions for life. We believe that no one should have to face an unplanned pregnancy alone, so we come alongside those families throughout their pregnancy and beyond! One way we do this is through our parenting education program, which is what our fundraiser with Opelika Giving Day is all about.

Project Summary:

Every day, families in our community find themselves facing unexpected pregnancies. There are many obstacles these new parents face, but no mother or father should be left to navigate this journey alone. At Women’s Hope Medical Clinic, our donors provide the opportunity for these families to have a full range of medical, educational, and relational support services to help them welcome their little ones into the world. Specifically, parents in the “Earn While You Learn” program have access to vital parenting education while simultaneously earing essential baby items like car seats, cribs, and more. We are seeking funding to support these services to families in our community.

How this project will benefit the Opelika community:

Over 200 Opelika families are served at WHMC each year. By giving these parents access to education and material support, our community sees stronger families and better outcomes for children. Women’s Hope is one of the only organizations in our community where parents can receive these free services, and it is only made possibly by the generosity of donors who believe in the value of life and the importance of equipping mothers and fathers.
